Back in the USA
I'm back in the United States now, so it looks like this will be my last post on this particular blog. However, if I decide to post anything while I'm in Costa Rica, I'll post it here too so I don't have to bother creating a whole new blog and stuff.
Traveling with Mike through Ecuador was great...after Riobamba we spent 4 nights and Black Sheep Inn, 1 night in Papallacta and then 5 nights in Tena and the jungle. Lots of fun, good hiking, etc. We decided to skip both Baños and Cuenca and head for the beach for our last few days in Ecuador. Despite the long busrides, we headed from Riobamba to Guayaquil where I left some of my bigger luggage behind, then went up to Canoa where we spent 3 nights. Then it was back to Guayaquil for a night, then back to Boston via a long (due to delayed flight) layover in Miami.
